importance of failure

Remember Augustine, Francis, men of failures but who conquered and with the desire to fulfill the will of God, became saints 

It's a test of rectitude of intention - not to glorify ourselves but God. It's important to be detached, success or failure. 

Most important is charity, not success nor failure. 

One dad keep checking in with children:

Instead of "how did you feel, ask: How did you fail?"

Failure is a little death. But faith doesn't make us scared of death. For death brings us eternal life. Same as failure. It's a little life. We become wiser, we know more through failure 

When we experience failure, we know what not to do. We need objectivity and humility to confront failure.

Don't fear failure. We become afraid of trying new things.
