Eucharist

I miss there very much is the sacramental presence of the Lord. In my own life, the Eucharist is the center. There the Lord comes to us as food and drink and transforms us into true new beings. The Eucharist, and indirectly all other sacraments, makes the Christ life radically different from a life inspired by the ideas and the stories about Jesus. The sacramental life is a life by which we become living Christ, in which we truly die from the old man and woman in us, and in which Christ becomes the center of our identity. This is the mystical life. Mystical life is the real life. It is the life of the spirit of Christ within us. It is the life which makes it possible for us to say, “Not I live but Christ lives in me.” I have a sense that you both are very open for this, and in fact, know more about it than most people (even most Catholics!).
