movie: hidden figures

An award winning movie, True story, featuring 3 African American women who worked at NASA in the 1930s. They had to deal with racial and gender discrimination. They were really brilliant in the field of math, but were merely regarded as human computers churning data and ensuring accuracy.

During that period, there was a space race to launch the first human into space and bring them back, what was called Project Mercury.

One of the African American woman, called Katherine Johnson, was brilliant in Analytical Geometry, was recruited from the human comp lab to the space discovery lab. But she was the only black female. And the discrimination was bad. She had no toilet in that building.
Her toilet, which they called the coloured toilet, was back at her old dungeon office 2km away. Yet, even going to the toilet, she would bring her stack of data to validate in the toilet so as not to waste time.
And her boss was like, what is going on, why is she always missing?! And he reprimanded her. And she stood for herself, opened his eyes to the bias, gave him back, saying I have to go to the toilet, and the only coloured toilet is 2km away. How do u expect me to not go toilet or do a quick one when you do not even have place for me to do toileting?! The boss then hacked down the coloured toilet sign, and there was change.

She had to fight to sit in meetings with the head management as the trajectories and time and landing point keep changing.
That time, you need the highest clearance for even entering into upper management meetings.
Her work kept getting rehauled because she wasn't given updated info. She was to calculate the math at which the coordinates should be in order to land safely.

And I think, these are the hidden brilliant figures, not known by man, but truly and fully recognised by God. How it will please the lord of we can really work like this. Hidden yet fully effective.
