the Spirit

I tell you most solemnly,
unless a man is born through water and the Spirit,
(To be born again through baptism and confirmation)
he cannot enter the kingdom of God:
what is born of the flesh is flesh;
what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not be surprised when I say:
You must be born from above.
The wind blows wherever it pleases;
you hear its sound,
but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.
That is how it is with all who are born of the Spirit.’

(Those who are born again, as Christians, are led by the Spirit. We can't see the spirit, but we can feel the effects, of the goodness of God through the actions of the Christians. And where do these actions come from? From the inspirations of the Spirit, inspirations we know not the time or space it comes, where it comes from or where it is going. But when it comes, a Christian is sensitive enough to listen, to abide and to act. It may come as an idea suddenly connected, or through a conversation with a friend, or through silence and observation. It comes and it is good.

Discernment of the Spirit. It has order. It is good. It bornes out of love.
