Note to God

It's not just a text book answer. To answer Who am I To You, you need to be on a journey with him, a journey of life, grace and sin. Just like Peter.  Not so much about studying idea, but to live as a disciple. By walking with him, we get to know him and love him. Everyday, with our strength and weaknesses. With our big victories and struggles. Because in those everyday meeting, we get what Paul calls, the mind of Christ, the hermeneutics by which to judge everything. 

What is the christian faith? Faith isn't knowledge of christ. Even the demons have knowledge of christ but doesn't have faith. Faith is not about the doctrine.. The pharisees know the law and theology but doesn't have faith.  Faith isn't an ideology. It's not a system of idea, of thoughts. Those who fall into ideology are Christians who know the doctrine but lack faith.  Faith is living and accepting the message brought by Jesus as the word of God and carrying it out. Faith is operative.  Recalling 3 figures of faith.  1. Mary who stood by Jesus at the suffering of her son 2. The samaritan woman who initially knew her doctrine but after encountering Jesus, had faith. She experience Jesus in her heart and ran home to tell everyone that she met someone who told me everything I have ever done.  3. The canaanite woman who had faith but didn't know doctrine. The holy spirit entered her heart to say even dogs eat the scrapes, that fell off the children table Faith isn...
